Giving this a 3.5. What started as witty and tense quickly descended into eye rolling tropes and nearly comical motivations at the climax. Still a fun read.

I absolutely loved Suburban Hell and found it to be a fun and unique horror novel! It gives me the vibes of older horror movies, which I LOVED. I loved the mix of true horror themes compared to the "horrors" of everyday life. I cannot wait to pick this one up and read it again!

I was really excited for this book, but it didn't really meet expectations. It was a great idea, but was just not executed well though there were times I saw the book that it could've been. It was a bit disjointed, and the ending was rushed but again it was a good idea.
