This was fun—if Desperate Housewives had demons. Some parts were a little campy and others were serious, so I kind of wished it had picked a lane in that sense (I personally would have preferred camp). I found it a bit too long, but overall this was an enjoyable read about the power of female friendship, the importance of the “village” when you’re a mom, and the monotony that often comes with suburban living

Is it cheesy and over the top? Yes. Was I genuinely so stressed that I read the last page to comfort myself also yes. It walks the line between comedy and a poignant story about friendship, femininity and guilt. I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading this one.
