I feel like depending on where you study, some of the contents is covered and also having worked in the industry for a short while, you pick up on some of these topics. Overall though, Sarah does a great job at simplifying concepts and compiling them in this reference book. Some great advice at the end as well.

It is a very good book for young Australian architecture students. If you are outside of Australia, then you have to do more research about how the things in your country work - similar regulations and associatation etc. Also, if you are already in the business, then most likely you will just read and nod.
