So short sweet and fun. Enola Holmes is clever and continues to remain in hiding while saving the day yet again.

I am really enjoying Enola's mysteries, and getting into more details about use of disguise was interesting.

This one was a fun mystery, even if much of it was figured out by chance.

I listened to this book and really LOVED the narrator. She managed to give Enola a certain intelligence in her voice, as well as portray the cast of characters that she meets in the book with distinctive tones of their own. I really love this odd little series.

Un peu court, peu deviner rapidement l'intrigue mais on continue avec Enola qui se cache de son frère. Au suivant.

The Genreland prompt for October is Victorian. I am struggling to find the time to read while studying for an important examination, but happily I had this little book in my stack. I found the 2nd book in the series and read it last month and would have read this book, #3, except I saved it for this prompt. I hope to track down and read the rest of the series because it is so well done and enjoyable.

Enola Holmes, afraid her last pseudonym was known to her brothers, is trying to come up with a new identity and way to elude them until she is legally an adult and less likely to be forced into becoming a proper Victorian married lady. (UGH!) In the meanwhile, Dr. Watson, best friend and assistant of brother Sherlock, has gone missing, For Enola, who feels it her calling to search for the lost and the missing as a perditorian, this is a quest she must undertake despite the risk of discovery. Once again, using her knowledge of things that belong to the realm of Victorian women and have escaped the notice of her famous detective brother, she gives chase, all the while dealing with the restrictions which come of being a woman in the time period.
