This book is a little long for toddlers to sit through. Plan to use it for preschoolers.

You have to play it up by adding interaction, but the toddler loves it. Especially the SNORT and saying NOOOOO when I ask if that kitten is the mama bird.

Very Cute quick read for the kiddos. It was one of my favorites as a kid and I still enjoy it very much!

Awwwwwwww. Poor little fellow.

But look at him, falling from a tree with a smile on it's face. True hero.

His picture book reminded me of one Tom&Jerry episodes. Remember, when little duckling was like: "Mama!!!" and Tom wanted to cook him? Well, this picture book is pretty different, but anyway.

P.S. Kitten's look at the beginning..priceless!
And here's a video http://youtu.be/-1s38H2-WKI.

Guess, I'll catch up with my childhood omissions today.:) Picture books are so much fun.

I've read this title many times over the years. I love that my library has a bilingual version that I can share during our preschool storytime.
