This is a tough read. But a very important one. And the writing reflects the survival mode of the main character perfectly.

This is phenomenally written, but a very painful read. Do not read this if you are in a bad headspace. It is, however, an important read if you can.

This is more than a book. I am not the same person after reading it.  I will have to forget this, but will I be able to? To this day, only a tiny fraction of rape camp soldiers had to answer for their crimes. They are still among us: they are fathers and brothers, grandfathers and uncles and work colleagues.
