I really enjoyed this book. The author is very talented in keeping you guessing on what the characters are going to do next, especially the antagonist, Tyler. I loved the steamy scenes and thought they were descriptive enough to make you blush but didn’t go overboard. I did struggle with the dialogue of the characters being misplaced at times to what I would expect from them; however, that didn’t take away from a great story. I wanted more in the end, but overall, I would recommend to fans of spicy suspense stories.

People always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, forgetting that the grass on the other side comes with unknown pest and weeds.

Clare was mighty forgetful until what she thought was a “better” situation turned out to be the absolute “worst”.

This was a quick, engaging story that had me giving everyone the side eye. Lol. There were some moments when I forgot I was reading about 30-somethings because the actions of the characters just seemed so childish. But hey, maturity ain’t about age, it’s about how you react to life situations.

All in all, this is a good read and I’d definitely check out more by the author.
