I might try this again in the future. I’m listening to the audiobook. I just don’t feel like any of the characters are fully developed. I do love multiple POVs and interweaving stories and the premise, but I just can’t get into it for now.

I really enjoyed this book. This isn't an easy, fast paced read, so I wouldn't say that this book would be for everyone. The best I can describe it is "meaty". I love the old fashioned fairytale feeling it gives. I love the morally grey characters, and I had a hard time putting this down, because I just wanted to see what they would do next. My only complaint....this book switches narrators frequently, and it doesn't spoon feed to you who is telling the story at any given time. It was interesting, but I definitely had to be on my toes to follow some times. Even so, I enjoyed it and got the ending that I had hoped for.

I found this one slow and confusing. Too many people, jumping around from perspective to perspective, and I couldn't keep track of all the details. I can appreciate there is some lovely writing in this book, and I see why so many people like it. Unfortunately as much as I wanted to like it I just couldn't.
