I don't even know why I keep reading these. There's no character development, no growth, same old lines every time and this plot was just ridiculous.

Mystery-wise this wasn't as lacking in plot as much as recent Stephanie Plum books, but I had issues with the transphobic remarks, paid protestors, and Stephanie releasing an FTA who was stalking his wife.

Not my favorite Stephanie Plum book, but Stephanie and friends are always a fun, light read. Love listening to the audiobook read by Lorelei King as well.

This book gave me some much needed comic relief from the other books I was reading. I have missed Steph and the gang (mostly Lula, Ranger and Grandma). I like that this had a little bit of the mystical involved. I guessed what was going on pretty quickly, but loved watching the antics of the crew. Lots of explosions, missteps, and even some romance (but come on with this love triangle already!!!) I love coming back to this series because I know it will make me laugh and be a quick read.

love this series and this time Stephanie is facing Zombies! for me this series never gets old and I look forward to her dilemma between Morelli and Ranger (and in this book Diesel is another wrench!). I also look forward to how the car(s) will be destroyed. Stephanie is one hot mess.

This series is getting a bit old. The books are getting thinner and thinner and yet I still keep reading them. They're like those old drinking friends you had in college where you meet up once in awhile for a fun night out even though you have nothing in common any more.
