This was much more scandalous and raunchier than the show but just as ridiculous and unbelievable. I don't mind trash YA, so it was enjoyable only bc it was such a hot mess. Emily's mom being "racist" threw me for a loop, so I'm glad the show deviated from that (tho, lbr, that'd be accurate probably). Anyway, wow, can't believe this was actually published, and yet I can.
