I loved that this story takes place in a small town in Alaska. Zoey has been dreaming and saving for this trip and to say it’s not going as planned is an understatement. I had a hard time with how far fetched it was to me. I liked it enough and will for sure be reading the other books in this series simply for the adventure and imagining a visit to Alaska.

On second read, Graham is much more unlikeable and I don't really get why they end up together anymore. But I do really love the Alaska setting and it was a pretty fun read when he wasn't acting like a baby.

3.5 stars rounded up - this was a really entertaining read. The characters are complex and well developed. There’s a moose! There’s a lot of characters in this one, being book one of the series. Some of the dialogue is cheesy and a bit much, but the excitement of Zoey and the reluctance of Graham is engaging.
I already preordered the next book.

A perfectly fluffy romance. Lovely, light, and just what you want for a summer fling
