Thank you so much to the author for sending this exciting new release my way! JUST GO WITH IT is the story of Lo, a chronically ill writer, and Weston, a viral Youtuber. Lo’s life is a hot mess. She lost her job, her home, and her health insurance all in one summer. When she reconnects with her college friend and former crush, people automatically assume they’re dating. ⁣

Weston is in desperate need of good press and proposes a marriage of convenience. Lo will get the insurance she needs and Weston will get new content for his career. But forced to be in close proximity stirs up feelings Lo hoped were long repressed. Should they just go with it?⁣

JUST GO WITH IT is an extremely readable and fun closed door romance featuring some of my most favorite tropes (and a P&P loving heroine!). Wright’s writing is sooo snappy and entertaining. I loved her way with words and didn’t want to put the book down.⁣

Unfortunately, Weston was not my ideal type. I found his pushiness annoying. And let’s just say if a guy pushed me into a pool (especially on a bad day) I might divorce him right there. I also wish Lo’s fibromyalgia was more integrated into the midsection of the book. Her illness is based on the author’s own personal experience and I really appreciated that representation. I just wanted to see more of Lo’s bad days and a fuller picture of her illness.⁣

I can’t wait for Wright’s next book and I will be adding this one to my favorites of 2022 shelf for sure!

I loved this book, it was a light read and lots of buildup that made my heart go pitter patter. I felt like it was just starting to get really good and then it ended. I would have loved another 100 pages with Wes and Lo after the last scene! I love a second chance romance but hate a miscommunication trope like bruh just speak up and talk to each other!! Overall this 3 stars is really closer to a 4 star

Favorite Quote:
"Reading was more than a hobby or passion for her. It was a personality trait."

Why I Decided to Read This:
I saw this book on the author's Instagram page and loved the cover. Also a plus that it was on Kindle Unlimited.

Plot:
Lo is struggling financially, and her long-time friend (who she had feelings for in college) just came back to town for good. I don't want to go into too much detail about the plot, but just know that it was good. I really liked it and highly recommend going in blind on this one.

Brief Thoughts:
This is probably my favorite book I've read so far this year, and I've read a lot of great books. I read this one in less than 24 hours, which is amazing as a mom of a three-year-old who constantly wants attention.

Characters:
I really connected with Lo. I completely understand her financial struggle and could 100% relate to her. While I couldn't even imagine what she must go through with all her pain, I still felt like I could connect with her character. And Wes... he was amazing. I loved how he was with Lo.

Writing Style:
This was written in first person with dual POVs between Lo and Wes. I loved the writing in this book, and I honestly cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Likes:
- Everything: I honestly loved this entire book. This was such a cute love story, and I didn't want to put it down.

Dislikes:
- RomCom: So, I just felt like Lo compared herself to a romcom book a little too much. That's pretty much the only thing I didn't love about this book.

Recommendation:
I 100% recommend this book! This is such a good romance book, and I highly recommend it! Just go read it. It's on Kindle Unlimited. Especially read this one if you love Sarah Adams or In the Weeds.

What’s in This Book & Trigger Warnings:
Please only read this if you need to. I don't want to spoil the book. Don't even read the blurb of this one if you can help it.
- Friends-to-lovers
- Second chance romance
- Marriage of convenience
- Slow burn
- Closed door romance
- Chronic illness: fibromyalgia

"Lo, I will always choose you."

If you need a book to binge on a 3-hour flight, I highly recommend Just Go With It. It was sweet & witty & instantly charming.

What to expect?
- A second chance and friends-to-lovers romance between college friends: Lo, a romance writer and Wes, a video content creator.
- Fake marriage of convenience so Lo, with chronic illness, can access his insurance and he gets a dose of good publicity.
- Excellent banter and chemistry. I am already a fan of Wright's witty dialogue. "Time of death: the exact second Weston King ran his finger across my lip."
- Best best friends you can ask for.
- SO. MUCH. TENSION. It's a delicious slow burn and closed-door romance.
- Dual points of view, thank you very much!
- Wes is hot & kind & considerate & loving & you'll most definitely fall in love with him. I just adored his care and compassion towards Lo, allowing her to be vulnerable and "feel her feelings."

The only downside for me is that the ending seemed abrupt. Like I NEED a bonus epilogue immediately
