I know this was influential at the time, but oh boy I struggled with this. It was like panning for gold, you'll occasionally find a nugget of gold that makes it worth the read, but most of time it's just dirt. Absolutely loved some sections but most of it either went over my head or dragged too long.

A very interesting book that gives some great insights. You can definitely tell that it’s a book written in the 1920s by some of the perspectives offered by Woolf, but perhaps they were satire that I wasn’t picking up on. Very eye opening to see how much feminism has progressed in the near century since the book was published.

So long as you write what you wish to write, that is all that matters; and whether it matters for ages or only for hours, nobody can say.
