This book demonstrated to me the power of genetic engineering. It is one of the reasons that I studied Chemical Engineering and genetics....leading to my job in biopharmaceuticals.

Another absolutely fantastic journey from Robin Cook. He always seems to think of the unimaginable and turn it into a thrilling adventure. I found myself getting drawn into each character's depth and wasn't even sure who I was rooting for at times, because of the way Cook emphasizes their complexities. It was beautifully wrtitten.

The book was cheesy but entertaining. I have to say, though, the fact that the father character's name was Victor Frank just killed me.

Not his best work, but a good read nonetheless. The premise is a bit outlandish even by the most permissive standards.

found this in a little free library. kinda dumb premise and the writing was not compelling but it was nice to turn my brain off for a bit and read something easy and somewhat interesting

I read this many many years ago and honestly only remember that I really liked it. Not my usual type of read, but I'm cleaning out books at my mom's house and have found some old ones I forgot to include here, so sorry for the lack of substance in this review.
