I really enjoyed this book. Ash is amazing, and seeing Margaret come into her own is so satisfying! The family dynamics are really neat to see (though Margaret gets the short end of that stick). Margaret navigates loyalty to her family in difficult situations, and Ash learns to let his family see more of him. There is so much caring and thoughtfulness and it was very enjoyable!
Graphic: Ableism, Emotional abuse, Sexual content, and Abandonment
Moderate: Mental illness, Sexism, Medical content, Grief, and Classism
Minor: Violence, Religious bigotry, Death of parent, and Alcohol
Margaret's father is dying at home and she is providing some intensive care for him. There a few scenes but it isn't all of them.
