Ok. I’m going to be real honest here. The first half? Bored me to death. It was so hard, so hard to like this book reading the first ~200pages. Everything was so annoying, AURORE ESPECIALLY. Girlie, you were almost unbearable. But the second half kinda made it…ok? I don’t know. I don’t think I liked this book all that much. But then again, some parts were wuite enjoyable so i don’t want to be too harsh.

Not to mention that it was so damn cheesy. And every damn sentence, I felt like the author was trying so hard to make it a hit line, quotes or like trying to force us to be emotional about it…which…nope, didn’t work. In fact, it did annoy me even more.

This is the worst book I have read in a while. I only finished it so I could say “read” on this app and get closer to my book goal.
This book was full of bad writing, with sentences I had to keep rereading to see if it would make sense, but no they were nonsensical. The conversations did not sound real and were odd. The FMC was unbelievably annoying constantly says she was the villain or evil, like stfu and just get your life together. She was too obsessed with fairytale and the emphasis was so cringe with her constantly say she was some fairytale character and he was a knight or villain. This book should not have been 400 pages, it was too long and yet gave me nothing still. The main trope in it is lack of communication and I just can’t stand that.
I just can’t express enough how much I did not like this book. The first time I was excited to read the book was when they rescued the cat at the end that’s it.

SPOILERS:

why did no one tell me to read this sooner
~ i read it on wednesday and it was amazing i binged it in one day. if i knew it was gonna be this good i would have read it earlier ( i brought it in july but i only read it this month in august) it definitely deserves 5 stars in my opinion ~ there was no petty third act breakup although there was one it wasn’t petty ( and it kind of made sense) i love that it was he falls first because i absolutely adore that . HIM BEING A anonymous PAINTER who got famous because of a painting of her he made ( without her permission) and her hating him for so long and then reaching out on insta saying how much she hates him only for hjm to say ive found you finally and telling her to schedule a call with him so she can continue saying insults to him. only for them to meet the next day completely by accident ( her not knowing its him but he knows it her and then they go to an art gallery date he invites her on it was >>

and then her literally saying someone’s painting looks like trash and then him agreeing with her but then him having to sit through her insulting his art omfg it was so funny reading his pov during this . yes this book is dual pov ~ omfg this book engrossed me so much i didnt wanna put it down.

omg her reaction when she realised that the artist she hates is the guy she went on a date with was to die for .

the slowburn in this book was to die for

this book did everything right ( it had everything i like in a book) if i could give it 10 stars i would) unfortunately i can only give it 5. the ending of this book was also amazing. i loved the romance . i loved the whole back and forth and her pushing and pulling him away )

Shittiest shit I’ve ever read. There’s nothing good in this book. I found the fmc funny at first but she was straight up rude along the way. Despite being introduced promising that I quickly read it, I regretted that decision so fast at 15%-ish read. This book is so cringe.
