The second volume and WOW, this was another fun one! I do wonder how long they are going to be in this dungeon, I mean, how did they even get to the point with the dragon and now it seems like they never are getting there? I was actually thinking this plotline would be over sooner and that we would go for another quest. Oh well, we will see. Maybe I will look up some spoilers and such.
But a ton of new foods are tried again, like steamed/cooked Mimic, or treasure bugs *vomits*, or living armour stew *vomits again*. Yep, as you can see, not much of a fan of this volume's food. I do think that these guys are getting more and more creative, and I love that they try out all sorts of things. And I love seeing the dungeon, its levels, the monsters, and that you can even befriend one. Also loved that flashback to our knight's sister. That was so sweet, though I did feel for our elf whose method is just blowing things up.

I'm absolutely LOVING this series so far. It really feels like it might get darker. I'm so interested to see where it will go. Will we learn more about the prince who became king in the paintings?
