Again, thanks to L; who made it possible for me to read it. One of the MOST beautiful illustrations I’ve seen, I am shook. Especially Australia? And Nordic Counteies ? And chime oh god China.

Brief and brilliant overview of women's suffrage and the fight for voting rights across the world's history. It's short and absolutely beautifully illustrated and full of many brilliant women whose stories I hadn't heard - a great jumping off point to research more women.

I thought this was very interesting, and it was great to see it take a global view of suffrage not a Europe or Western-centric one. But I also thought it could have gone into more detail on most of the country-by-country pages, and it would have been nice to see a bit more discussion about the inequality that still exists in a lot of places. But maybe I'm nit-picking. I would have loved if it had some suggestions for other books or websites to find more information after finishing.
