This isn’t my favourite Christie book but it’s still a good read. The setting is boring and the middle dragged slightly but the ending made up for it in spades — it was simultaneously expected and unexpected. (I’m being vague here purposefully!)

I don't like DNF-ing books but I honestly should've. It's so boring. It's not long but it felt like it was 500 pages. I really couldn't get in the story. The mystery wasn't interesting and I didn't like the characters. I keep trying Agatha Christie's books but I guess they're just not for me.

This was such a fun mystery. It did a good job with the profiling of the killer, and a surprisingly good job of not using mental illness as the reason for murder.

This particular novel was one of the stronger ones from Hercule Poirot. I like a good police baiting. Hercule gets letters from the killer warning of the crimes about to be done. I think that the final reveal/ motive was alright.
