This book stressed me out because of the tropes/plot in it, but it was still good. Jaron made reading the book worth it.
Moderate: Death, Violence, and Murder
Minor: Classism, Child death, Blood, and Death of parent
Jaron, the main character, is an orphan. His parents were murdered. He is also a king, ascending to the throne after his parents, who were the king and queen of his kingdom. There are some discussions about parent death and child death, and there are quite a few fights and tough situations in this book. Jaron tends to get imprisoned a lot in the Ascendance Series.
