I might be missing some content warnings...I read this in the middle of the night when I was sick and couldn't sleep 😅 and immediately started the 2nd book...so it's all a bit of a blur.

This book was a lot of fun to read...and I think it was my first omegaverse read too...which is honestly surprising with the amount of shifter books I've read over the last 20+ years 🤣

This was so fun! I absolutely loved Sadie( I think that’s her name. I’m so bad at remembering names). She actually made me laugh so many times. The world is interesting as well. I didn’t read the summary so I didn’t know the alphas shift into different creatures which is fun. I really like the slow burn happening with the characters as well.

Honestly by the end I had no idea what was going on and no desire to continue in hopes of figuring it out. The MC is weak, complains about it all the time but doesn't seem to actually wanna do anything to get stronger, and slut shames almost every other girl multiple times. It was a good premise I think but poor execution.

Just bad. Fmc was a pick me girl. And all the female characters were mean sluts apart from the fmc. I will be continuing the book though

At first this didn’t grab me at all. I hated the characterization of the three alphas and I found some of the writing, I don’t know if it’s the word I’m looking for but, childish. The usage of slang really felt off putting to me. But it really grew on me as I continued to read! I found the world building interesting,
Sadie grappling with most of the world being a lie was interesting. Sometimes the sheer amount of abuse Sadie and Cobra endured was really hard.
Overall, I found it an enjoyable read and will be reading the next.

the writing in this was…not good. and i feel like nothing actually happened?? i’m half tempted to read the next one just because this only took me about 4 hours and i’m wondering if the reason everyone likes this series is because of book two lol. we shall see.
