Yes, let's have honest conversations about racism with our kids.

I loved this book! I liked the format, it made it a super fast, interesting read. I liked how she was able to mix humor in with the really emotional interactions she was dealing with around racism. Her style of writing really appeals to me because it feels so real. I’m looking forward to reading more from her.

I want to give this book to everyone I know. As someone who comes from a family of Trump supporters, I appreciated the author’s willingness to view her in-laws as complex human beings worthy of respect while still calling out their harmful beliefs. And, as a white person who is constantly striving to learn and unlearn in my life, I am incredibly thankful for the author’s insights and willingness to speak of her experience. Thank you, Mira Jacob! You’re an inspiration.

Incredible- both aesthetically beautiful and phenomenal writing. Also funny. I've always been resistant to graphic novels and this completely turned me around.
