Because of this, I was able to appreciate all the more literature on children and adolescence. However, it gave me a new perspective, as the "Patriciang Payatot" gave me an idea of how it felt like being in an all-girls school; surprisingly, I found more similarities than differences with growing up in an all-boys school. The way CPH writes about realizing the realities of adulthood with children's eyes is something worth reading again and again.
