I am just saying I finished this book at 11:22 at night before I had an audition, I couldn't put it down! It was so good

When I finished If I Stay, I HAD to know what happened next. Luckily for me, Gayle Forman already took care of that with this book.
I was a little taken aback by the fact that this is written from Adam's POV, since I relished in the way Mia's mind wove what it did, as it did, in the first book. It didn't take long for him to win me over.
Not quite as...beautiful? Lyrical? as the first book, but it felt raw and real and engaging. I both wanted to plow through it, but also slow it down...just in case I didn't like the ending. I liked getting to know Adam better, to to understand his part of the connection he has with Mia, understand better why he did the things he did in the first book.
If you read If I Stay, this is a natural to read right afterwards--and does not disappoint.

I couldn’t get into this book. I really liked the first one but this one, it’s just not for me. Adam is so whiny and the overall story isn’t keeping me interested unfortunately

"I needed to hate someone and you're the one I love the most, so it fell on you."
I really liked this book. It contains it all, from sadness to happiness.

Heartbreaking to see life after an event through the eyes of someone left behind.
