A two star for Nora Roberts is really a 3 for anybody else, but this book is just too boring. I'm not a fan of the main characters either--forgettable and bland.

Loved the continuation of the saga...although predictable (and able to forsee the next two books as well), it was a very warmhearted story.

This is kind of a review for the second AND third book in this series as well. The second and third book have practically the same exact problems. Did Roberts find a good theme and just run with it over and over? There's a girl, and she likes a guy, but doesn't think the guy likes her, or the guy has commitment issues, but then realizes he likes her anyways. Oh, and bonus: after 3-5 months of dating - they get engaged! The first book is the exact same, only reverse sexes. I like these books because I love the friendships and how the women interact with each other. However, I think it's idiotic that they all end in a proposal, and those proposals come after such a short time of dating. I wish they had different plots, but the sex scenes are great so I'll keep reading.

Like the fairy wedding in the story, this was a fairy romance.

Enjoyable beach read!

I far preferred the first book of this series, Vision in White, to this one. Roberts' dialog, as always, is excellent, and her character development is fantastic. Honestly, she can do little wrong...until we reach the big conflict portion of the book which precedes the "we love each other, let's get married!" finale. I won't give away any spoilers - not that a Roberts romance can actually be spoiled - but I'll just say that one character's childish behavior, which was not addressed, made it impossible to suspend disbelief. Too bad, too, because Nora Roberts is typically better than this. In fact, any other author probably would have gotten three stars for this one, but since Roberts can do soooo much better, she gets only two.

A new series! Yeah. I really enjoyed this from the start. The characters are all incredibly likable. Of course, it's the usual beautiful, successful, wealthy people finding love. Still, that's what alot of romance is, the ability to dream like that. Something I really liked about this is that there are no fantastical elements; no fey, witches, curse, legend. Just people dealing with people's foibles. Of course, the library has 2 copies of this and none of book 1. grrr. A series I'm going to want to own.

I cried. I don't know why but I spent the last 20% stiffling sobs and wiping tears with my quilt. It was just one of those days I think, because a fight between a couple isn't all that, I've read much worse.

As with other reviewers, I would have given this book a higher rating if it wasn't for the last bit of the book. Overall it's everything you'd expect from a Nora Roberts book.
