The art in this one is interesting. It looks like paper cutouts of things in the foreground with watercolors for the background. It is an interesting blend.

This book celebrates the season with all the special things that come with this time of year. Falling leaves, apple cider, pumpkins, decorating, planning your costume and jolly good days to play outside. It is a decent book and doesn't strike me as special or standing out from the crowd of Halloween books.

The set up of the story is When... Then... and by the end of the book that is somewhat tedious, but probably good for the little ones.

I read this to both the kids and they thought it was ok. The niece, who is a tough critic gave it 2 stars while the nephew gave it 3 stars.
