This was a cute short read but it was another instant love story. The main characters literally met one night and then were all for each other. I think that it would have been more enjoyable if they had hung out for a week before he went off. And then when they were emailing it was more get to know you then we saw. Everything went too fast and the length of this book is a main reason. Honestly I don't know why it isn't classified as a novella.

I will not be continuing with this series. This book was a free kindle book. But it does not make me want to read any of the other books. Maybe someday if they are free and I need a filler book.

This was a very quick read but I liked it. Sweet, cute, hot, just what I needed on a night where I was feeling gross and grumpy.

Found this one downloaded and ready to go in my iBooks collection, probably from BookBub. Went in with low expectations, but this was surprisingly well-written and a very cute, short love story!

Miles and Piper are fun characters and I liked the way the plot twisted and turned on them as they figured out that lust at first sight can be so much more. A great read!

Fall Deep by Zoe York

In this entry in the SEALs Undone series, we follow the romance of Piper & Miles. Miles is in England visiting his aunt on his current leave & Piper is on a European trip to find herself. When they meet in the local pub that Piper is working at, sparks fly.

What happens when a SEAL falls for a girl who doesn't even know what she wants to do when she grows up?

Fall Deep didn't really work for me. Piper and Miles fall instantly in love, which I don't mind if done right, but here I didn't believe it. I never was able to connect with the characters so I didn't see that they really care for each other at all.

Miles and Piper first meet when Miles comes into the bar she is working at. She is in Europe on a finding herself trip and working for a bit to make money before moving on. She wasn't expecting to meet anyone or care about them, but Miles draws her in.

Miles is a Navy SEAL and is shipping out the next day. When he sees Piper he knows he needs to get to know her even though he is leaving again. Maybe they can work something out. Though when he tells her he is leaving the next day she calls it all off. She is supposed to be finding herself, not falling for some military guy!

Only she quickly realizes her mistake and then they are together forever. They write and call each other when they can and for some reason didn't work for me at all. I never felt the connection. Piper would get all worked up about things that happened in the world, sure Miles was there in the middle of it even though she didn't know where he was. I just didn't feel it. I didn't believe she was actually really worried about her boyfriend who is in a dangerous place/situation. I don't know what it was about it, but they didn't work for me. So overall just a meh read.

I liked this one a lot. Star-crossed lovers meet while the heroine is backpacking across Europe and the hero is on a brief stop before returning to his overseas post. I love epistolary romances and this was a good one. CW: detailed descriptions of military combat

Piper Harrington was out to find herself. Traveling in England she never thought she'd meet a Navy SEAL from the states, Miles Dumbrowski.

This story takes us from the beginning attraction between Piper and Miles, through the phone calls, emails and all the scares of being in love with a SEAL.

Gotta love them SEALs! I can't wait to read more of this fabulous series, SEALs Undone.
