Holiday Magic

What a holiday tale to get wrapped up in! The setting was magic. Candice and Charlie’s story the most grinchy romantic swoon ever. It’s makes you believe in all things Christmas.

Nothing like a sweet Christmas story to finish out 2019.

Candace volunteers as a decorator and event planner for charitable organizations in memory of her mother. It’s Christmas, and one of the donors, who owns a Christmas Tree farm, begs her to help her socially awkward son navigate the social scene for Christmas so he can assume his role at the helm of the family business. Charlie was super cute and an awkward “I just want to be out on the farm with my trees” lumberjack type. I completely loved this one and their enemies to friends to lovers romance. So cute and Christmasy.

Really cute. Glad it was not overly dramatic and just an overall feel-good Christmas story.

A sweet and lovely holiday read, fast-paced and just like a perfect Christmas movie on Hallmark channel.
It's the first book that I've read in the series but it can totally be read as a stand-alone. Great characters and quite a laugh out loud and heartwarming story.
The perfect read for cold days in winter and a cup of hot chocolate.
I liked the writing as it's a quick read and didn't felt like dragging at all. Looking forward to reading more books by the author.

Thanks for my review copy to Sb pr and NetGalley.

This book was so cute. It was everything you want to read in a Christmas romance. It was light and easy to read and a HPE you can be pretty confident in! It felt like a Hallmark movie in book form which was just what I was looking for. It was festive and fun and the story was written so well it felt like it was immersive and I could imagine myself in the places the author was writing about. Man, how I’d love to be wandering through the Sullivan Christmas tree farm with twinkle lights and old fashioned Christmas music right now

a 3 overall! story was cute but i wish i loved the characters more. y’all already know i loooove me some teddy hamilton when listening to audiobooks tho!! he’s one of my absolute faves when listening to romance novels and he delievered as always!

the pacing of the story was fun but i just wasn’t as engaged. it seems like monica murphy write similar tropes and it’s been 3 in a row now. i just want a little more diversity. her books are so easy to read though so i’m gonna happily dive into the next one!

i think what really sat with me most is that candice didn’t have more development. she seemed insecure and nervous and i would’ve loved more development in her character facing that straight on. she deserved that! i know charlie was a grump but i also would’ve loved more i sight on his melty insides for candice. it just all seemed too quick and not as pleasing. they were easily lovable characters but it felt a little surface level.

A cute little Christmassy book.
It was a easy read, you can easily pick it up and get lost inside for a while and not even realise.
Charlie and Candice are kinda like opposites, she absolutely loved Christmas and all this festive where as Charlie is a bit more guarded and thinks about the business side of it. Which i understand, working in retail kinda sucks the Christmas spirit right out of you.
But never the less i thought they was great together!
I really enjoyed this book!
Worth the read!
