If I could recommend any book to anyone it would be this. I’ve not felt joy like this since acotar, throne of glass, six of crows and from blood and ash. This book won me over from the first page and I know I’m now in for a hell of a ride with the next two. Lou, Coco and this found family have my entire heart and I cannot describe the euphoria reading this gave me. THIS is what fantasy books are all about, this is what I need to survive. What is the purpose of life if not to read books such as this? I am so obsessed, I exist in this world now in my mind, I am consumed by everything that happened between these pages. I sobbed the whole way through this. An absolute masterpiece.

Loved it! I love a good enemies to lovers romance, and a witch/witch hunter romance sure delivered. That said, I didn’t find myself squealing and running out to Barnes and Noble immediately for the sequel. But if I see the book at the library, I’ll be picking it up for sure.
