Loved the sequel as much as the first book and Kelly and Blue are just too adorable, can't help but love them to death.
Also, will there be more books in this series??? The author's note hinted about that and I NEED MORE

Wow. That was a long but worthwhile journey. Just like any other great series, I wished there was more of Kelly and Blue. Not that I wasn’t happy where it ended, but I’d love to hear more of their story. I’m a sucker for closeted/sports/coming out tropes. Literally the best. 100/10 recommend this series so far! Time to move onto the next book.

So much better than [b:The Blueprint|38504190|The Blueprint (Rules of Possession, #1)|S.E. Harmon|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1518510633l/38504190._SY75_.jpg|60143416]. Blue and Kelly are together, and the whole implausible bi-awakening is settled. Instead, they struggle to keep each other happy and safe.
Blue is a much more interesting character—we get more of his story—and Connor and Kelly’s family are back.
All in all, a satisfying read.

Excellent second part to this sports romance
I really appreciated this book. And by that, I mean that this second instalment is basically a 'what happens after the happy ending'.
Here we see a relationship which takes work to keep going and I loved every struggle, every step forward and two back, each heated word and loving caress.
Kelly and Blue are a perfect partnership because they want to be. They want to out in the efforts to get the rewards.
I'm glad S.E. didn't skimp on the trials of love, the journey to happiness is fraught with stumbles but it's worth the ultimate pay off.

Omg I love this book. Harmon does amazing character depth, and shows conflict between characters as they both have good intentions. It was incredibly well done, how even as they're allowing their emotions to get away from them, they recognize it and call themselves out. They're mature and feel like real people. I want more of these two!
The book seemed to flip the perspectives, much more of the book is from Blue's perspective instead of Kelly's, compared to the first book. Despite the emotional nature of the book, it's about average angst, still quite lighthearted. Both characters make mistakes, and they're so good at overcoming them.

Oh these two!! Blue and Kelly drive me insane, but I love them. They just needed to get out their heads and actually talk and things would have been great. The banter between them is hilarious and Kelly and Conners friendship and their banter I died laughing at. I’m glad Blue and Kelly found their happy ending!
