I have yet to read the last book in this series, and what better way to restart it than to read the prequel to book 1 to show us how this world came to be?

It's been a few years since I last checked this out, so I'm hoping I still like it. So far, so good!

Happy (re)Reading!

I heard quite a lot about this series, but wasn't sure to start it. Now I read this prequel story, I will be soon reading the books. I loved it. It was scary, sad, hopeless but there was also love and happiness. It was beautiful and it made me want to know more about the world and the people.

I would really recommend this book to everyone who is thinking about reading this series.

Foundation by Ann Aguirre is a short story prequel to (my current obsession) her series Razorland. The beginning of the pandemic that forced civilization underground and the boy who held the truth.

This is 4,888 words of emotion. I loved this short story. My only complaint is that it was too short. Yes, the SHORT story was too SHORT. I quickly attached to the characters and their struggle just to reach a time leap & then it’s over. I crave so much more. Everything else was fantastic. I won’t go into detail since it was short & you can read it for free online. I would definitely recommend this & if you like the Razorland series it’s a MUST read.

Me gustó. Es breve, pero dentro de eso te brinda una buena historia de cómo empezó todo lo que vimos en el primer libro de Enclave.

I guess this is part of a series. I read it in a collection of short stories so I didn't really get the whole picture. The characters are good.

Post apocalyptic, doom, gloom, and no redemptive value. Left me no interest in reading anything more by this author.
