********** Contains Spoilers**********

I’ve been a fan of Suzanne’s for years. Suzanne’s Phoenix, Mercury Pack and Olympus Pride books are my go to re-reads, and I think that I’ll be adding her Deep in Your Veins and Dark in You Series to this list as well. I’ve read the first few books in this series but I haven’t gotten around to posting a review so here goes. I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was an another good addition to the Dark in You Series. Knox has finally gotten Harper and her co-owners to move their tattoo studio from a bad part of town, to the Underground. He and his demon are happy as Harper will be safer there. It isn’t until Harper’s attacked by hunters, who are trying to take her wings. Wings that only a few trusted people know that she now has. She isn’t able to reach out to Knox telepathically as something is blocking their link. It isn’t until she’s in tremendous pain that she’s able to break through and connect to Knox.

All I can say is that he completely loses his sh*t and luckily Knox’s demon recedes control to him so he can make sure Harper is okay. Harper grounds his demon, and she’s the only thing that can stop the demon from burning the world down with hellfire. Knox, his demon, her business partner Raini and Harper’s bodyguard Tanner are all guilty about Harper’s attack, as Knox told Harper that she’d be safer in the Underground, Raini didn’t stay while Harper locked up and Harper gave Tanner the day off so he wasn’t around to stop the attack. Harper doesn’t allow them to feel guilty as it’s not their fault, and the fault lies with the hunters. There was a lot of twists and turns during this book, especially when trying to find out who’s targeting and Harper. There’s a lot happening in this book, and it seems danger is around every corner. I really hate the b*tch Carla. She doesn’t even deserve to breathe the same air as Harper. To confront Harper in public about Roan’s death because Harper’s demon killed him when it was protecting Harper’s life, as he was trying to kill her as he was one of the Horsemen.

Carla was never a mother to Roan either she’s just narcissistic and twisted. Carla also doesn’t like that Harper is pregnant (after Crow butchered her by taking her reproductive organs) but Harper realises that she’s not even mad at that, its just that she doesn’t like that she’s not getting the attention she thinks she deserves as a grieving mother. People keep targeting Harper as they believe that she’s Knox and his demon’s weakness, in a sense she is but she’s powerful in her own right and has had a power boost since completing the anchor bond with Knox. Harper’s demon comes forward when her life’s in danger and smites them by calling on the fires on hell. Knox and Harper go from strength to strength, and there’s no doubt that their baby is going to be extremely powerful considering how powerful his parents are. I love the supporting characters and I’m looking forward to reading their books, as the series continues. I’m looking forward to reading the Ember and finding out what issues Knox, Harper and Asher face. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

honestly, I can only repeat myself

lots of summarizing and repetition, but that aside really enjoyed it (I guess it's also helpful if I ever feel like picking up a random book in the series, I won't necessarily have to do a complete reread, cos we get so many reminders lol) - but yeah, love this world, love the characters, love being back with them

compared to book 2, this one had a lot less T&D and K2 crumbs, which was a bloody shame, but the tiny crumbs we got were, as usual, delish

this was v pregnancy focused, but I knew there would be a kid in book 4, so that didn't surprise me/didn't mind

the creepy demon kid was creepy at first (duh), but then he grew on me - v curious when he said you (harper) won't hurt me, but he (your kid/asher) will foreshadowing much

Demon babies. All the unsexy parts of pregnancy magically don’t happen! Kidnapping. Opens in a really dark way with wings being cut off??

I'm going to write the reviews for books 1-4 of the Dark in You series as a whole)
Fifty Shades of Grey meets Lucifer. If you're looking for very detailed spicy stuff, this ones for you! And you won't want to stop at just book one! I couldn't think of reading any other books while I devoured this series. Don't get me wrong, the spice and romance was worth the read! But the adventure, drama, mystery, danger, and the unknown sucked me right in and I needed more. It was a new world, and I loved feeling immersed in it!! Demons that lived right along side humans. Sure, they're evil creatures, but they also lived and breathed just as we do. I loved that about them. There was nothing simple about anything. The writing made it easy to sink right in, as if you already knew how the Underworld worked.

9/10 Romance
8/10 I Hate Everyone But Her
10/10 Instalove
10/10 Series

This series just didn't do it for me... And that sucks because Suzanne Wright is hilarious. I love all her other books but these just weren't good in my opinion. I also have read a ton of reviews and it seems no one agrees with me but thats ok. I did like Knox and Harper.. well kind of.. I just hated the way they spoke to each other. They were constantly reassuring that they loved each other and thought the other was attractive and it annoyed me. I also think that their dialogue was immature. And no the same humorous immaturity that the wolf packs have in Suzanne's other series.

What really bothered me about this book was all the recapping. It happened in the beginning and I though ok thats it. but no.. it happened throughout the whole book. I wanted to scream. If you are reading the 3rd book in a series then you freaking know what happened in the first 2.

Idk guys.. This one just wasn't for me I guess. Ill stick with the lovely Pheonix pack.

More villains, another one of Knox’s jealous ex’s, political shenanigans, and all of the crazy that is the main characters and their relationship.

I’ve enjoyed this series because life has been hard and these books feel like pure candy.
