Great suspense & details on how everything unravels in the end. Loved main character & romance. My second favorite Natasha Preston book!! Schocking and suspensful last chapters!!

A bit anticlimactic but a quick and easy read. Please check trigger warnings. I enjoyed most of the characters and the premise behind the plot was good, albeit executed poorly in my honest opinion. Give it a shot, just because it wasn't my favorite, doesn't mean it won't be yours.

Read the trigger warnings. This dark, chilling locked room type ya murder mystery will leave you guessing until the very end. There were so many twists and turns, drama and romance. This book was not as good as her other book “the lake” in my opinion, however it was still good. This book was not scary at all, it did have a lot of suspense though. No spoilers, but yet again, the author ends the story on a cliffhanger with no plans for a sequel. I don’t like how the story has no resolution, it ends at a weird place. There is still so much up in the air. I liked it but did not love it.
