It was good, but definitely way heavier than what I was anticipating. It felt depressing at times, but the writing itself was great and I especially loved how culture was at the forefront.

Beautiful and tremendously sad. The hope sinks into your soul the more you sit with the book. This book will hurt you so please take care of yourself <3

It's rough trying to write a review of a book when the tears are still coming strong. I've never read a book that understands religion in the exact same way I do. I feel like this book saw my soul. I've been trying to articulate it my whole life, and it turns out a woman I've never met, who was born in a country I will probably never visit, knows the things I do. This book is human on a level I didn't know a book could be. I've been wandering through life with the thought that this story might exist, and it is a joy to have found it.

Sabaa Tahir is an auto-buy author of mine. I'd read her errands list. This book is dark and heavy and full of so much truth. The main trigger warnings are Islamophobia, racism, alcoholism and drug use, sexual assault, and death. I read this book in a day, yesterday. She has done it again. My heart and soul are weeping. This book is similar to The Hate U Give and Dear Martin—all these books should be available in schools everywhere and taught in them. While this is a YA book, the subject matter is good for older ages as well.

If you do read All My Rage, please, please look at the trigger warnings; what I shared are just a few of them.
