I liked Violet in the other books but I didn't really care about her story. It was okay tho.

“I’m not signing the papers because you’re my wife... and I’m keeping you.”

Okay, so I really liked the "my wife" moments and the chemistry between Josh & Violet was amazing but the insta love kinda threw me off. Still , I felt like the ending was perfect and I liked how fast this book moved, so overall, it was a 3.5 star read for me.

I received this as an arc for my honest review

This story was all I had hoped it would be, for the very first book in the series I just loved Violet and I really wanted to read her story. It was just as steamy and full of feelings as the others.

I liked how the story was constructed with first their meeting and then what happens after the “Obsessed” epilogue. Josh and Violet had great chemistry and I just loved their story.

And now I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Violet’s brother.

This is my favorite of the series! I was waiting for Violet’s story. Reading about her playing match maker in Whiskey Run had me wondering when and if it would be her turn soon. Her story did not disappoint. Josh and Violet randomly meet at a gas station and their chemistry is instant. She offers to help him cook a meal, and they spend the evening talking and he wants to get to know her more. She tells him it won’t work, she’s older than him he’s famous, she’s small town. He doesn’t care, and asks her to stay. So what happens when they wake up married and she runs? Josh hunts her down. Obviously. SO good.

I’ve read almost every Whiskey Run novella, but apparently I missed the series that starts it all. Violet is a character in almost every other story set in Whiskey Run, acting as the magical matchmaker that never seems to miss. Finally getting to read her story made me so happy.

Also, I just binged all 5 books in the series today. CAN SOMEONE GET ME THE RECIPE TO THAT DAMN CINNAMON APPLE BLAZE CAKE?!?!?!?
