I think the movie is better then the novella. I liked that the movie Vic learned more about himself the the book Vic. I like the extra charter in the movie. I also like the love story in the movie.

"They're just girls," said Vic. "They don't come from another planet."

What is better than starting your year with a Neil Gaiman short story? Maybe, a Neil Gaiman short story in comic form. And that's exactly the case with this little book.

Two boys find themselves in a party full of strange girls, our main protagonist tries to use whatever little social skills he possesses and soon things get kind of weird.

With an art style full of vibrant colours that complements the story perfectly, How to Talk to Girls at Parties is peculiar and poetic, a combination that Gaiman knows how to master exceptionally.

It is pure fun and I only wish there was more!

Quick story seemingly based off a joke: "girls aren't from different planets"

A little confused, but the writing as always was beautiful.

This is a fantastic adaptation. I'm glad I picked this up this year. The art is appropriately beautiful and eerie. The story gives enough hints to draw satisfying conclusions but leaves many things left unsaid.

I've heard this is going to be adapted to the screen soon - I think that will be an utter failure. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's not, but not every successful bit of writing needs to live on in every medium or more specifically be adapted to film/tv. The best bits of this are things that can't be replicated in film.

READ IT. Read this comic adaptation, if you must have pictures. The pictures are good.

This adaptation of Neil Gaiman's story is good but I was expecting it to be great based on my love of Moon and Bá (Daytripper is amazing!).  It was okay, but aside from some trippy moments, I found it kind of boring.

It's still worth checking out but I don't know how much I will remember about this version tomorrow.

3.5 divertido e toda vez que uma menina alien saia de cena eu tava ansiosa pra próxima, o jeito que elas falam é muito engraçadinho
