As they were largely focused on historic crimes, this book had less of a pacy feel than the previous in the series and the family tree did get a bit confusing for me, but still another enjoyable read!

At this point I’m mainly reading for
the will-they, won’t-they nature of Ruth and Nelson’s relationship!

Ruth Galloway reunites  with Frank Barker to tell the story of a dead pilot found in a WW2 plane.
PROS:
  • Cathbad the dad!
  • Michelle becomes more than a “forgiving wife”
  • Good twist ending
CONS:
  • Getting exasperated with
    Ruth’s pining for Nelson.
