As an archivist, and a disabled archivist at that, I loved this novella so much. A disabled protagonist, an LGBTQ+ couple as the main romantic subplot, archives, some murder mysteries and zombies and...! All in one. Wonderful.

Really enjoyed this book, it had an engaging protagonist and really interesting setting.
It was also really great to read an own voices fantasy book about a character who is blind, a perspective very much underrepresented in SFF.
I do feel like the book could have done with being a little longer and more fleshed out, to fully develop the various characters and plot points,

I feel like it’s slimness made it a little to easy to predict the outcome of the mystery for me.But overall I found this a fun read and I’m very interested in seeing more from this world and characters, if the author ever decides to revisit them.
