THIS SERIES WAS SCREAM WORTHY.

Ren and Ash...

They're just so perfect
The love they have compliment each other and you just know..

I was really happy how many things were resolved in this story, and knowing Violet's story.
What really got me teary was when Ash was looking at Ren and was thinking
“Trust me to fall for a fighter.”

2.5 stars. It was ok. A little drawn out and boring as nothing much really happens. Basically after being separated at the end of the last book due to Ash’s misplaced desire to protect Ren from himself we have Ash and Ren decide to get back together early on, spend lots of time together talking to build a solid relationship (this is a good thing), training to fight and then fighting as part of the plan to get revenge on Hammer by winning the underground championship. Oh they also have lots of sex. All in all a bit repetitive with nothing of great import happening. Sure it was nice to see them get back together but we didn’t need a whole drawn out book about it. This could easily have been achieved with less drawn out unnecessary stuff by Ash coming back to Ren at the end of book 1. Then this book could have been all about Violet with some Ren & Ash in the background.

5 stars easily. I've been meaning to read this book for a really long time because I got the first book free, and I loved it for the reason it deals with MMA (even though I'm into WWE) it something that I could get into very fast read. defintley recommend this

great ending to ren and ash's story.

so after the crazy cliffhanger we were left with in book 1, i was glad not to be kept in the dark for too long in this book. this book was really about mending relationships and growth for both ren and ash. we got to know more about both of them, see them both mature and learn what they really wanted from life, learn what was most important in life. their chemistry is still explosive as ever!

all our favorite characters made appearances in the book and the writing was just as good here as the first one.

i'm anxious to see more from these characters - violet & lincoln, dean and ??? (monica), josie and hamish - there are lots of great possibilities here!
