I can safely say that this book is not what I was expecting.....at all. I was pleasantly surprised to read Hoang's depiction of high-functioning Autism. It was a cute story that was certainly a page turner. Would recommend, however, be aware of some graphic pages (unless you are into that thing, of course!)
Probably wouldn't bring this one to work..... :)

Re-Read Review June 2022: 4/5 stars. Still a very fun read just not as easy to look past some of the flaws. That said I was correct in 2019 when I said I would read it again!

Original Review Feb. 2019: 4.5/5 Stars. I admit I am bias in my rating because of all the K-Drama references. Regardless still a delightful read that I want to read again. Also a breath of fresh air when it comes to the lead characters.

Loved the neurodivergent main character. (The main character has aspergers just like the author) I’d love to read more books with main characters like this. I related to a lot of what she went through because I’m neurodivergent as well (ADHD)

Steamy romance. Fake dating.
I recommend it if you like romance books!

Let me first start off by saying…I had no idea this was an erotic novel when I picked it out! However…it was a very, very well-written erotica novel. It was sexy without being corny and the characters were charming and interesting. I thought the novel progressed swiftly and kept me intrigued.
Spoiler I was, however, hoping for one final intense sex scene towards the end when Michael and Stella confirm their relationship status.

PS: brownie points for acknowledging condom use! ;)

Yall. Give me a nonneurotypical love story and I apparently shit my pants for it and have big sweaping realizations about my life. It's nice. This book was a work of art I devoured in 24 hours.
