Could NOT put this book down. This had the most amazing banter and chemistry I’ve ever seen in an enemies to lovers. He was down BAD and I loved every second of it. Cannot wait for book 2 but I know it will rip me apart

If you enjoy a hunger games type of read, this one is for you! I enjoyed this one, but did find it to be a bit slow. While I also enjoy some good banter- the banter in this felt to repeat itself over and over and took away from some of the world building I was wanting. The FMC and MMC are great and it leaves you on a good cliff hanger. Dual POV is fantastic- and made me love the MMC even more. I’m excited to see what happens in book 2!

4.45!

This was a solid debut. Perfect for the fans of red queen and the hunger games and being a fan of both I can literally say that this is perfect.

The writing for a debut is actually fine not too bad but very addicting and so damn good. The world building is rich and lush and the action is pretty good too.

The character Kai and PAEDYN are the perfect choice.for the main characters, paedyns determination and her survival from her past is something that I don't see in many characters as well as Kai and his grief and love for others and how he expresses it but also his anger and hatred, it kinda reminded me of starwars because there were Jedi's and siths and anakin who was struggling with his emotions which led him to become Vader. I think Kai is following that path too and will become something like that if PAEDYN dies in the following books

I really loved this book so much! The entire time I thought this is going to be a 5 star. Until the last couple of chapters... I don't buy that now a of a sudden Kai wants to murder her.. I mean he murdered her father. And his father who she killed what a horrible monster, so she did him almost a favor. And now that it seems Kitt is turning into his father I am liking him less and less too. I will read the next books and hope it will get better. But right now I do not like Kitt and Kai anymore :(

I guess I just have a bad after taste of this book because I did like the most part of it
