I feel a bit weird reviewing an autobiography, because it is the account of someones life, so most adjectives feel a bit empty to use. But what I will say is that I'm grateful to Trevor Noah for having the courage to share these pieces of himself with the world, and I feel like I learned a lot about his home country and his family.I'm very glad I read this book and would highly recommend to other readers.

Very informative, well-written and -constructed.
I didn’t know much about South Africa and the details of apartheid. Really insightful.

Would recommend this to anybody, I don’t even know Trevor Noah’s comedic work.

A heart wrenching story with his classic sense of humor. I really appreciated this story as it felt incredibly real.

I really enjoyed this book. I am an avid reader of fantasy and romance so this was outside of my comfort zone but it was done so well that I couldn’t put it down. Trevor Noah manages to talk about the effects of apartheid in a way that anyone could understand. I have already recommended this book to many people and will continue to recommend it.
