I love data driven science books and this one did not disappoint. Lots of interesting takeaways that we can all use. Full of real life examples. Easy to read and apply.

one of the most valuable books i’ve read. backed by a lot of research, this helps you identify secure / anxious / avoidant parts of yourself, and also answers statements people often say but don’t tell you what that means, such as being vulnerable. the author allows for nuance in friendship, as on social media there’s a lot of very high school esque, harsh, “friendship has to be 50:50” and quite transactional in nature “advice” (which i think is costing a lot of people friendships!), she addresses this really well.
helpfully each chapter ends with takeaway bullet point notes! and is written in a conversational style so it’s fun to read!
FYI: the first chapter i hated so much i almost didn’t read the rest of the book, BUT the rest of the book is superb. I’m so glad i did.
