I finished it and had no clue what this book was even about. It felt slightly empty. I found the characters passive and very unlikable. I didn’t really care how either of them ended up.
I wasn’t rooting for them. I was rooting for the people who had to deal with them. There were several points in this book where I asked myself why anyone would want to be their partner or friend.
And it’s obviously possible to write unlikeable protagonists that we *do* root for but these two aren’t it. By the end I was scanning the pages to get it over with, because I felt irritated more than anything.
If I had to summarize this book I would say: things just happen to people with very little personality and character. They are nothing and do nothing. Everything is inconsequential. Nothing leads to anything, the end.

Sento il bisogno di commentare questo libro, ma temo di non riuscire a farlo senza risultare sgarbata. Di solito dicono o lo ami o lo odi. Io lo odio. Davvero, è piatto, banale e i personaggi sono insulsi. Mi fermo altrimenti finisce male. Davvero, perché?! Come si fa a trattare in modo così superficiale temi così delicati? Lo sconsiglio.

Interesting plot with a lot of blank spaces that stimulate your own interpretation. The charachters are difficult people but not too far from reality I think. The book is inspirational without being patronizing. I love the loose ends at the end of the book
