This is probably one of my favorite books of the series. All of the Endless show up in this book as they search for their brother.

Again, a cohesive story that rehashes a lot of background information and enriches the universe of the Eternals and makes it even more believable, if that's possible. For me, one of the strengths of the Sandman cycle is just that believability, sure it's fantasy, sure it's all made up. But credibility is not dependent on truth. And great writers manage to exist in this tension. I like the characters that are introduced and followed up in this part. Small penalties for me for Delirium's text, because I like and understand the approach, but it is still incredibly difficult to decipher in some places. Still a clear recommendation, this time again mainly to people who have read the previous volumes.

One of the best in these series. Dream and Delirium seeking Destruction ties many loose ends and gives us a wonderful insight into the world of the Endless and how Dream has, even when he doesn't want to acknowledge it, changed irrevocably.
The Sandman is a triumph.
