I am going to miss this wonderful ragtag team so very much. I'm gutted that this series is only three volumes long. I feel like these characters and their stories still have so much to give. That being said, this was a lovely finale, filled with all the passion, excitement, high stakes and tender moments I've come to expect and adore from this series.

This was a sweet wrap-up to the Avant-Guards. We continued to learn more about each of the characters but the plot was definitely at the forefront of this volume. Charlie dealing with her anxiety was realistic and heart-breaking but seeing everyone make-up in the end and be so supportive of each other was so sweet! I love this team and I'm sad to say goodbye :(

A really great finale to this storyline!

I appreciated the character growth and interpersonal interactions between characters and the love and support the team has for each other was wonderful.

As always the art and the rep was amazing!

The ending definitely leaves space for future adventures with these characters so I remain hopeful but it’s a solid comic trilogy.

SpoilerCharlie’s sister comes to attend the same college as her and makes the team while she and Liv are away. Charlie has a meltdown, which I think was dramatic and the things she said to her sister unnecessary. She then abandons the team and Liv. The team puts together a fundraiser for good cause and win the semifinals game against the Selfies, making sure there is a league indefinitely. Charlie apologized and she and Liv got back together. Ash can now play again. This has been my favorite as of yet.

Cute, sweet, a bit predictable, but a solid ending. One can hope for a second season.
