First half of this book was a 3.5 even closing in on a 4. Second half of this book was a 2, maybe even a 1.5. A lot of potential but wasn't pulled off.

It was basically a guilty pleasure book - no real plot, half assed world-building and character development, and you have so many questions that SHOULD be answered yet never are... but for some damn reason you finish it in 24 hours anyway not being able to put it down.

If you're thinking about DNF'ing this book, this is your sign to do it. It's not worth it

Have you ever listened to a song where the music is BANGING but the lyrics just weren’t there? Or vice versa? That was An Enchantment of Ravens. Margaret Rogerson is a good writer, but the story just did not cut it.

This one was pretty underwhelming. I was bored for a lot of the book, to the point where I had to go back about 4 chapters and relisten to them because I kept zoning out and not paying attention. (In all honestly, I didn’t miss anything by going back to listen again)
I was excited for a human/fae romance but right from the start, the romance seems to have happened during a time jump (Isobel is painting Rook’s portrait and we get to see them meeting for the first few times and then it skips forward a few weeks and suddenly Isobel gets butterflies and has feelings for Rook
