This is the prequel of the principal series Fae Isles .
But before the actual review a word of advice
⏩️Read this book AFTER the 2nd book " Lord of Gold and Glory ⏪️

So the order is
✅️A Court of Blood and Bindings
✅️Lord of Gold and Glory
✅️Heart os Silk and Shadows

I feel I wouldn't have enjoyed the LoGaG so much if I have read this one first.

I don't want to talk too much about the plot either to avoid ruining the surprise but the characters are just super lovable and the male character is

Well wasn't that a fun little prequel?!

The "he falls first" trope is one of my favourites and it is so excellently done in this, so for that I am eternally grateful.

The world building is subtle and yet I have a really clear picture of the way that things are ready to move into the rest of the Fae Isles series.

Agenor and Allie's ability to challenge eachother and force eachother to be the best versions of themselves was really sweet and I can't wait to see them both grow further in the rest of the series - and of course to meet their little girl and see what the future holds for her!

Just the right amount of spice scattered throughout a solid plot and a delicious romance.

Can't wait to read the next one!

It was definitely an interesting intro to a series and I did really enjoy it. Especially the letters and witty banter. I found the magic system a bit perplexing though, it’s never really explained how it works I would of liked abit more understanding.

I didn’t absolutely love this though I liked the characters but I didn’t feel a strong connection to them though. I did however love creon otherwise known as the silence death. I know he is the MMC in the main series so I definitely looking forward to starting it.

That was amazing. I think it was better than the main series. It was a wonderful enemies to lovers and I enjoyed knowing what was going to happen. But that also made the story so tragic. I cried for the last 50 pages! Lol. I loved it
