Was craving some Dan Brown since last year, had to start 2019 with him!
This one was different as it didn't have the central character of Robert Langdon, that am used to.
The book latches on right from the prologue, and the plot stays that way till the last full stop.
I was surprised to see that this book had a scientific turn, since the author had removed his symbology, allowing him to tread new waters *wink wink*

Overall a thrilling read, would definitely recommend!

Slow read but worth it

I had a difficult time getting through the first few chapters, but I'm certainly glad that I didn't give up. Moments when I would find myself somewhat bored with this story were quickly reversed with intriguing turn of events.

Spoiler
within a span of 24 hours Rachel Sexton has:

-survived 4 different assasination attempts

 -survived hypothermia

-watched like 8 different people die

-killed 3 people

-been on 3 different helicopters, 3 different planes, 2 different submarines, a ship and a snow vehicle

-flown to the arctic

-flown back from the arctic

-fell off a cliff

-met the president

-met a tv star

-fell in love with said tv star

-relived childhood trauma 2 different times

-leaked pictures of her dad and his assistant having an affair

and the book ended with a sex scene. definitely interesting to say the least.
I loved the book but oh my god why is every single person in the delta force so stupid. They have good tech and all but my god these guys only had one job and managed to screw it up 3 different times, killing themselves and their boss in the procees. Anyways this is the longest review ive ever written and this book will continue to take over all my thoughts for another 2 weeks or so. Great read!
