This was a fascinating look at what could happen if we were to go back in time and alter history - even in tiny ways. Great characters and premise. A couple inconsistencies annoyed me and it covered some pretty stressful concepts, but overall a great read.

A fascinating story that revolves around humanity, technology, and exploring what we are all capable of. Slightly too rushed in the beginning and too long in the end, but overall an enjoyable, worthwhile read that is both entertaining and will stick with you after you're done.

What a fantastic and original take on time travel and its repercussions. Crouch really nailed the urgency and horror, and the narration was wonderful. Barry and Helena forever!

Absolutely incredible. One of the best sci fi books I’ve ever read! All based in our current reality and on this planet. Explores human influence on our reality through technology. Can’t recommend it enough! Will absolutely read more Blake Crouch!

Normally I enjoy sci-fi set in a “real world” but I couldn’t get my head around this concept. Just not the book for me. It also had a lot of trigger warnings (suicide/violence) that were difficult and caused me to have to put down but I also wanted to push through because so many have loved this book. I didn’t feel like it was worth finishing but glad I tried it.
